Had tmda working well with my old installation, but I've upgraded to Mandrake 9.2 from 8.2 and tried to lock down the permissions on the .tmda folder. When I try to recieve mail, I get an error message like this:

Uncaught Python 2.3 Exception (Fri Jan 9 21:41:39 2004):

I'm using vmailmgr, and I'm pretty sure this is a permissions/ownership issue, but I'm not sure exactly what TMDA needs. The docs say 600 is fine for the crypt_key but it doesn't say what user. Here is a listing of what I think are the relevant permissions:

/home:
drwxr-x--x 5 root adm 4096 Dec 30 19:39 ./
drwxr-x--x 20 root adm 4096 Jan 9 21:41 ../
drwx------ 6 vmail virtual 4096 Jan 9 20:55 virtual/

/home/virtual:
drwx------ 6 vmail virtual 4096 Jan 9 20:55 ./
drwxr-x--x 5 root adm 4096 Dec 30 19:39 ../
drwxr-xr-x 3 vmail virtual 4096 Dec 22 19:15 users/

/home/virtual/users:
drwxr-xr-x 3 vmail virtual 4096 Dec 22 19:15 ./
drwx------ 6 vmail virtual 4096 Jan 9 20:55 ../
drwx------ 9 vmail virtual 4096 Jan 9 20:59 chris_berry/

/home/virtual/users/chris_berry:
drwx------ 9 vmail virtual 4096 Jan 9 20:59 ./
drwxr-xr-x 3 vmail virtual 4096 Dec 22 19:15 ../
drw-r----- 7 vmail virtual 4096 Jan 9 20:22 .tmda/

The .tmda directory, all sub-directories and files are 640 vmail virtual except crypt_key which is 600 vmail virtual

I'm guessing TMDA is probably not using the vmail user I set up for vmailmgr, and is ending up not having sufficient permissions. Can someone recommend what permissions would be good for a virtual users setup like this? (not 777 preferably, hehe)
