Sorry to take so long, but you may have copied and pasted a long line from a pico window. Pico shows the end of long lines with a dollar sign - this may be your problem.
The line in question would have ended in "/home/virtual/site32/fst/var/www/cgi-bin/tmda-cgi/tmda-c$"
