I hope I'm understanding your question correctly.... TMDA sends challenges to the envelope sender of the original message. The envelope sender should be stored, by your MTA, in the Return-Path header field. TMDA actually gets it from the environment variable "$SENDER". There is no way to change this. The only other possibility would be the address in the From: header field and this is sometimes not an address. TMDA chooses the envelope sender as the most reliable to place to get some sort of address.
