It looks like you're probably running stable (woody). Here's what I found: http://packages.debian.org/stable/interpreters/python2.2 You should be able to get this using your favorite method (dselect, aptitude, apt-get ...) If you have further questions about debian, it seems you'd be better off asking the debian-user mailing list.
