While checking my balance online this morning, I noticed that my credit card company now offers dated credit card numbers. You just enter the expiration date and limit, click 'create,' and it generates a valid temporary number. The rationale behind this is so that you can shop with greater confidence because the vendor never knows your real number and even so, the number will be invalid shortly.
Just thought I'd share because it's very similar to TMDA's dated addresses and an excellent use of technology. -jon -- Jon Nathan [EMAIL PROTECTED] _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users
