While checking my balance online this morning, I noticed that my
credit card company now offers dated credit card numbers.  You just
enter the expiration date and limit, click 'create,' and it generates
a valid temporary number.  The rationale behind this is so that you
can shop with greater confidence because the vendor never knows
your real number and even so, the number will be invalid shortly.

Just thought I'd share because it's very similar to TMDA's dated
addresses and an excellent use of technology.
