One important point that this article didn't mention is that maildrop
checks the syntax of its filter file before attempting to deliver a
message. Unlike procmail, if the filter file contains syntax errors,
maildrop terminates (defers) without delivering the message. The user
can fix the typo, and no mail will be lost.
