I'm using qmail with TMDA. My qmail setup uses virtualdomains, but without any vpopmail or vmailmgr.
With the virtualdomain contact user (the prepend) being the TMDA user, it works fine. But my desire is to have the virtualdomain contact user _not_ be the TMDA user. This is not possible using "domain:prepend" in the virtualdomains file (where prepend is not the TMDA user). So, I thought to try using "[EMAIL PROTECTED]:prepend" (as the only line for that domain, to try it first). This causes the confirmation reply to bounce. Note that I am not doing anything out of hte ordinary; just a virtualdomain using [EMAIL PROTECTED]:prepend. Here's the bounce message (incoming file is below): Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: 19 Oct 2004 13:26:15 -0000 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: failure notice Hi. Am I wrong, or am I missing something? Alternatively, I would like to use "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" as the TMDA account, but is not this impossible with virtualdomains? (I know it's entirely possible if I don't care about virtualdomains.)
