Hi, I found the problem, don't worry i had 2 extra whitespaces in the .qmail file, thanks anyway :)
------------- Hi, Thanks for your response. I went with your advise and switched to qmail for this purpose. I must admit though I personally think exim is far superior based on my short duration of installing/configuring qmail but anyhoo no flame wars :) I got qmail to accept a local delivery fine.. I then got it to use a virtual host fine... I then followed the documentation you stated below and I get a mail loop: @40000000417acd0a38ce4a2c delivery 26: failure: This_message_is_looping:_it_already_has_my_Delivered-To_line._(#5.4.6)/ my /var/spool/tmda/.qmail looks like this |preline -f /usr/bin/tmda-filter |forward "$DEFAULT"@domain.com Any help appreciated --------- Original Message ----------- From: Stephen Warren <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sat, 23 Oct 2004 10:15:50 -0600 Subject: Re: TMDA Box to spool mail using Exim 4 > David Jacobson wrote: > > > Is it possible to have TMDA purely spool mail to another mail > > server instead of doing local delivery as the box I want to put > > in front of our mail server already does local delivery? > > Yes, it's certainly possible to do this using TMDA (and qmail).
