I've been trying to get tmda working for a little while now. I've followed all the pre config and server config instructions, but i cannot seem to get tmda to react to any mail i send through the account. I'm no linux expert, and as such i'm having a hard time understanding all there is to know about mail services and how to alter their settings. I do know that i'm running exim and i can recieve mail successfully through that. In fact, it delivers the mail too well as i have yet to see the tmda blacklist i set up kick in or a challenge response.
The thing is, i don't know if its my tmda installation that went wrong. I can't seem to get my .forward file to actually change anything. Even if i just put another email address, which i would think would in turn forward all emails to that new address, nothing is changed. I was wondering if anyone could run me through a quick checklist of tests that might find out what is wrong with my setup.
