What is it that takes 15 minutes?
If your mail client takes 15 minutes to deliver the mail to TMDA on port
8025, then that could be a TMDA problem (although it's much more likely
a system/network configuration issue, such as hanging reverse DNS, or
IDENT or something in your MTA).
If the delay occurs after TMDA has accepted your message, then it's
unlikely to be a TMDA issue - tmda-ofmiped synchronously delivers each
message to the MTA whilst your mail client is waiting.
Perhaps your MTA logs will provide more details.
