I use postfix for my MTA. When I use postfix style virtual users, the "Confirmation request" is originating from the servers "original domain" not the "virtual domain" For example: the server domain is mydomain.com. When i send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] the confirmation request is coming from [EMAIL PROTECTED]

How can i tell TMDA to append the virtual domain not the server domain name?

I'm not familiar with Postfix virtual users setup, so I don't know the "right" way to do this (it probably involves ensuring that Postfix sets the correct domain name in various environment variables whilst calling TMDA), but you could try set the following variable in each user's TMDA configuration file:

Also, make sure Postfix isn't munging all outbound email to your "original domain", instead of letting people send with their "virtual domain" (although I imagine you already have the working just fine)
