Is that like an injection? My group theory course clearly wasn't advanced enough ;-) Stupid comments aside, http://www.arda.homeunix.net/mailinglists.html is very useful (3rd hit in all the obvious Google searches), though my advice is to forget about using sender addresses for subscribing. If I remember right, that's the FAQ advice too. But the advice about setting up your outgoing filter to allow posting to mailing lists is spot on. I subscribe with my normal email address, check my pending list for the subscription reply, and add an incoming whitelist or filter entry based on that to allow list mail through. For example, for the TMDA lists, I have from [EMAIL PROTECTED] deliver=~/toby/Maildir/.tmda/ from [EMAIL PROTECTED] deliver=~/toby/Maildir/.tmda/ from [EMAIL PROTECTED] deliver=~/toby/Maildir/.tmda/ from [EMAIL PROTECTED] deliver=~/toby/Maildir/.tmda/ in my incoming filter (not sure if all of these are necessary - I set them up a long time ago). They not only allow the mail through, they also sort it into a separate mailbox. If you just want to allow it through, remove everything after and including the "=".
