Ayesha,

Most auto-reply systems mark the emails that are sent out in their headers in a way that identifies them as not being directly from a person and they typically send the auto response to the envelope sender or from address, rather than the reply-to address. For this reason the default confirmation message template in TMDA does differentiate between the from address and the reply-to address such that the auto responses should not be triggering the confirmation acceptance.

If you have modified your confirmation_request.txt template to not differentiate between the two addresses then you could run into an issue with this, also it is possible you have run accross a non standard auto responder that is responding to the reply-to address instead of the from address or the envelope sender address. If this is the case then there is very little that can be done to prevent it from releasing messages other than changing your confirmation template to not include the confirm_accept_address variable and instead only accept confirmations via TMDA-CGI by including the %(confirm_accept_url)s variable somewhere in the body of your confirmation messages.

Hi all,

Can anyone help me in configuration's tmda? I am needing to know what is the right config in order to not accept replyies confirmed messages.

explaining better: I do not want to accept as confirm messages that were reply from confirmation messages. This is because some systems has "auto-reply" enable, and this will make to put their email address on whitelist.

Does anyone can help me?
