Thanks to the help off-list of another subscriber it seems that the error may be talking about my incoming filter file (it would be very helpful for the error message to be changed to indicate which file the error is in). I noticed that, if the line number and file are right (there is some ambiguity as to if the line numbers include those with comments or not) then the problem was with one of my whitelists. I noticed that one of the lines in this whitelist (which has been working for a very long time) did actually have a match pattern, then a space and then some text in brackets. I thought that removing this may fix the problem but so far I'm not sure... I will reply when I (think I) know later. > I am concerned that this means I may be losing legitimate email... is > this the case? How may I fix the errors? It seems that mail is being deferred by the MTA which is good. At least that means people will have likely received a proper failure notice. best regards, -- Matthew Tylee Atkinson http://mta.agrip.org.uk/ _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list ([email protected]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users
