I would suggest to make options on tmda-pending like we have done with
-n which is nomodify not to modify the white/black list since it may
happen at times that you want to delete the message but you do not want
it on your white or black list.

This is true.  Again though, I'm not sure I'm going to keep the
DELIVERED_CACHE.  I've already envisioned a scenario where this would
be replaced with another method, at which point the feature you've
provided will be broken, users will bitch & moan, etc.

I "learned my lesson" when I broke keyword address compatibility a few
releases back, and am trying harder to plan ahead.

So, although you're free to use your patch locally, I'm not going to
check it in.

We weren't discussing deleting the message upon confirmation/release
as TMDA did in the past, but rather deleting it once it on longer fit
into DELIVERED_CACHE.
