I don't think it's that important. I'm the only one to who has ever

How about not using MESSAGE_FROM_STYLE to create those extra
`nice_headers'? I only really intended that to be used for From: and
Resent-From: headers anyway but somehow it snuck in there. From the
docs:
MESSAGE_FROM_STYLE
Specifies how `From' headers should look when tagging outgoing
messages with tmda-sendmail. There are two valid values:
"address"
Just the address - [EMAIL PROTECTED]
"angles"

So I could add a second variable to be used for headers other than
From: or Resent-From:. This wouldn't involve any changes to the
parser.
Any objections? If not, what's a good name for this variable.
