Sure. I don't think TMDA-CGI uses Tim's code to retrieve virtual home directories from VMailMgr or VPopMail.
It would be great if it did. It's unusable to virtual domain manager users otherwise. I believe Tim put most of the code in MTA... so it shouldn't be terribly difficult to implement if the architecture allows it.
