I'm confused. Are you saying that you have a default domain compiled into
vpopmail and that when you supply just a username (like 'jon'), without the
domain part, it doesn't work?

If so... it works for me! I'd guess that something is wrong with your IMAP
or POP3 compilation.

Does your vpopmail default domain work for normal IMAP or POP3 logins?

Hi guys I just found out that the default user account which is auth without
the @ example [EMAIL PROTECTED] which by imap or pop gets auth as well as jon
since it's the default domain which has been compiled in vpopmail will not
be able to send messages out but if the user is using the full email to auth
then it does work fine. So maybe a variable to have the user check for the
default domain and then if it does not get auth check for the full email
address.
