A suggestion for the FAQ (probably in the MTA section). I ran into this problem, and found at least one other person had the same problem in the past two weeks, and he got no answer (on the list, anyway; I wrote him privately and he'd figured it out).
Title: I'm using sendmail. Why do confirmations trigger new confirmation requests? You probably have an entry in your /etc/aliases for your username (see 3.2). A common mistake is to have "foo+*: foo". This used to be necessary with some older versions/configurations of sendmail, but isn't with current versions; you can just delete that line. If it's there, sendmail rewrites "foo+confirm-..." to "foo" before passing it off to procmail, so procmail has no chance of seeing the part after the "+". -- /=================================================================\ |John Stracke | http://www.thibault.org |HTML OK | |Francois Thibault |============================================| |East Kingdom |I'm a zygote, he's a zygote, she's a zygote,| |[EMAIL PROTECTED]|wouldn't you like to be a zygote, too? | \=================================================================/ _________________________________________________ tmda-workers mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-workers
