I rent a small office in a small office building in a small town. There's only a few other one-man companies in it (the office building, not the town). We have a hairdresser, an insurance salesman, a therapist, a jeweler.
Other than myself, only one other person in the entire building has any technical expertise at all. He runs a few servers in China and tried to hire me today to help him do some system administration. I guess you can't get good help when your servers are twelve time zones away and the administrators don't speak English. Although I could really use some extra bucks, I had to turn him down. He's a spammer, you see. As much as I liked the thought of taking his money (in particular), I just couldn't help him out and sleep well at night. Thought you guys would get a chuckle at that.
