Hi,

I'm running TMDA/0.89 "Chateaugay" (Python/2.2.2 on linux-i686).

Installed as an RPM (from TMDA distribution), running qmail v1.03. TMDA is
run from qmail's .qmail file, which contains:

    |preline tmda-filter
    ./Maildir/

I have a rule in my outgoing filter file:

    # Catch-all rule for addresses that are not yet on the whitelist.
    # Use a dated envelope (to catch bounces), a dated Reply-To for safe
    # measure, and also append the recipient's address to the whitelist.
    to * tag envelope dated=10d reply-to dated from bare=append

It appends unknown outgoing addresses to my whitelist. Here's the relevant
log entry:

Date: Sun Nov 23 19:50:32 PST 2003
XPri: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Sndr: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
From: Jeff Coffler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Rept: Jeff Coffler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
  To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subj: Directions to Jeff's House
Actn: to * tag from bare=append reply-to dated envelope dated=10d
(7505)

The interesting part of this: Look what was appended to my white list:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Granted, I did type it that way (mixed case). But since TMDA lower cases
E-Mail addresses coming in (I believe), shouldn't the append rule also
append E-Mail addresses in lower case as well? Otherwise, I don't believe
there'll be a match against the white list, and there should be ...

Please advise, thanks!
