[ Apologies to Tim Legant, for whom this will be the third time this message reaches him] I had the same notion about functions in the config file last night. Great minds think alike (fools seldom differ) :-) I'm biased of course, but I think if you have to define a function anyway, the eval semantics is better. One advantage of eval is that it allows referring to variables in a natural way. tag x-pending-lifetime python="Defaults.PENDING_LIFETIME" Seems to work ok. If we decide to go with this way, then I guess it would make sense to add Defaults to the environment. BTW, I have to confess I was only thinking about this in the context of 'tag'. I just noticed the shell= and python= actions are broken for eg. to [EMAIL PROTECTED] shell="echo '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" I will have a look over the next few days. db _________________________________________________ tmda-workers mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-workers
