Hello guys,

I got a message from the person who wrote the validrcptto patch for qmail and
he
explained that his patch can not be modified as {quote}
<quote> As stated on both the qmail.org site and my own, wildcards will not
        work with the patch....so, yes it would cause something like tmda to
        not work, unfortunately.

        What you *could* do, however, is modify TMDA in such a way that it
        appends the address it's going to use for the challenge-response email
        to the validrcptto file.

I know I have asked this in the past and it was suggested that it could be
done
in the next release of tmda, so my question is, is this being looked at? I
would
not think it would be that hard to do and would love to do it however I don't
know how to code, but trying to learn.

I don't know of anyone working on this.

TMDA is written in Python, which wouldn't be a bad language to learn in - it's quite fun:-)

I'm afraid the TMDA works well enough for me that I'm not highly motivated to hack on it - I can summon enough time to try and answer most mailing list messages, but that's about it. Lots of other things demand programing time! Sorry.
