Thanks so much for the update. I hope your dad can get home and on the road to healing soon. There are actually some meds for MS that aren't widely approved for TM, so maybe that will be a help to him.
Tell him we're thinking of him and praying for him,
Barbara H.

Hello all,
Sorry it has been so long since my last update on my Dad Dennis Smith. He went into the V.A. hospital May 21st of this year and he is still there. They told him he was just going in for the flap surgery. They did that and it turned out great and is healing very nice. I have some pictures if anyone would like to see just e-mail me my dad said it was fine. Well everything was going great for a few weeks and then they told us that they wanted to do more test. So he said ok whats it going to hurt. So they told us the test where to see if he has MS. So last Saturday we sat around waiting and found out he DOES have MS along with the TM. So he's taking that pretty hard. Yesterday they moved him to a room where he is by himself before he was in a room with 3 other guys. They did this because the nurses dont change their gloves or wash their hands when they are done with someone. This leaded into him getting a really really bad infection in his spinal cord. I think theres more to ! the story on how he got the infection. But for now they think he is contagues. We are going to try and bring him home in a week because all thats going on there is him getting even more sick. When he went into the hospital he had no infections at all here he is now with God knows what. Sorry for the long letter. If you want to see the pictures please e-mail me and i will send them to you as soon as i can.
Thank you for caring
