Well, going against several prevailing notions, we
here were not scared in the least because of an MS dx when me missus had a
second attack, at C-5,6, waaaaay back in 99
February.
Her first attack, at T-8, happened in 97
September.
So we went to the neuro a second time and he said
'no prob, just go on Avonex, and nothing will happen'. In our case,
nothing did happen, and now almost 300 injections later, me missus is doing just
fine, thankyewwwww......:>):>):>) On some nights, she won't even
have after effects from the shot.
But then, each case is very different, so many
variations; to the point that I can't really suggest anything to
anybody, that's for sure.
Do tell us more about yourself; many here will
have something to offer in return.
Regards from Elvisland, Bobberino, the care
giver (Marabeth, the gimp in da house).
(yes, am very irreverent....:>)

Subject: [TMIC] RE: contacts/birthdate I hope I haven't sent 2 emails
but I hit the wrong key and the first message window vanished. My name is
Anne Shreve and my birthdate is October 26, 1952. I had my first attack of TM in
1975 when I was 22. I would love to have a person/friend that would share their
stories and experiences with me, and yes, at times, listen to mine. You see I
recovered fully within about 2 yrs. and now I am confined to a hospital bed and
scooter with a questionable diagnosis of MS. I am new to the tmic. I found
out about it through Sandy Siegel. My email is [EMAIL PROTECTED]. I hope to hear
from someone soon.
