Well, am not the afflicted one here but I do have wobbly knees (due to tendonitis) and am harboring a cataract (destroying my depth of field vision -- to be extracted next year, had one removed already)  so I do tend to lose my balance here and there and more offen than now and then.   So am what one would call 'a wall hugger'......  that is, I touch walls or whatever is handy to help me maintain my balance.
As for lubricating my predicament, indeed, it helps tons.  It doesn't make me lose my balance more offen but it gives me an excuse if I do .... :>):>):>)
My poisons of choice:  pale ales and aged gold tequila.   Yummmy....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

drink some wine, beer or whisky, and you will have a normal excuse for falling or tripping.  or, you could just attribute it to tm and go on.  i always try to laugh at myself when i do funny things like spazing so much the cats leave the bed, the sheets go flying and the wife gets up and goes to the bathroom.  one of these days, she's gonna git up and go get a baseball bat and just knock me out and poor cold water on me in the morning to wake me so she can get some sleep.

be a tiger and give them heck, krissy, or drink some more.

I am so tired of walking and losing my balance. They keep telling me it'll come back, and I hobble around, but lately it feels like I am falling over and losing my balance alot! I don't fall all the way down, I catch myself, but it's getting really annoying lately!
Feels like its going in reverse!
