Hi Everyone ,
I went out to lunch with 5 former co-workers today . I was a nurse on the 7p-7:30a shift when TM hit 10 years ago . I was in the hospital 2 years ago with an infected foot , and that's the last time I saw them . These women live around 20 miles away from me , they work full time on the night shift , and have families . One has cancer , and this may be the last time I see her .
We had a great time and spent over 3 hours talking about old times and catching up on our families . Although I don't see them often , we just pick up where we left off , like it was yesterday . I know I'll suffer from increased burning pain for days (it's already started), but it'll be worth every minute of it .
