Funny that the subject of hot/cold comes up now. I've been having a flare this past week and the cold is driving me crazy. The worst for me is in my back - I call it my patch. It feels like someone is holding a bag of ice between This subject of Hot and Cold comes up only occasionally for me, but when
it does, it is horrible! I find myself freezing and put on a sweater only
immediately to find myself burning up and cannot get the thing off of me quick
enough. Then I am shivering cold again, with chattering teeth and
all.
What am I to make of all of this? I am almost
driven crazy by the whole thing and the only thing I can do is to remove
everything binding, take a 5mg. valium and wait it out. Once the valium
begins to take effect, I can put a light sheet over me and take some pain
medication. I can then slowly get dressed or ready for bed and get some
relaxation. I also must make certain that I cath and do a bowel program
before I can completely rest.
What about the rest of you?
Peace,
Jude
