Funny that the subject of hot/cold comes up now.  I've been having a flare this past week and the cold is driving me crazy.  The worst for me is in my back - I call it my patch.  It feels like someone is  holding a bag of ice between
my shoulder blades and I'm so cold, I shake.  Like some of you, it wakes me up several times during the night .....and I have to cath.  Very thankful for the Remeron that helps me get back to sleep.  Crazy TM.
Diane in Canada (who's even colder than outside)

Dear Friends,
This subject of Hot and Cold comes up only occasionally for me, but when it does, it is horrible!  I find myself freezing and put on a sweater only immediately to find myself burning up and cannot get the thing off of me quick enough.  Then I am shivering cold again, with chattering teeth and all.

What am I to make of all of this?  I am almost driven crazy by the whole thing and the only thing I can do is to remove everything binding, take a 5mg. valium and wait it out.  Once the valium begins to take effect, I can put a light sheet over me and take some pain medication.  I can then slowly get dressed or ready for bed and get some relaxation.  I also must make certain that I cath and do a bowel program before I can completely rest.

What about the rest of you?

Peace,
Jude
