Good morning folks,
Grace, I so hope your vision does improve
after finishing the IV Solumedrol. Not to discourage you but my eyesight
did just the opposite. Let me say I really have no idea what caused it but
I can't help but wonder if the steroids or other medication caused mine to
deteriorate.
I have worn glasses most of my life and
have always tried to have an eye exam ever couple of years if there were no
problems. Because of the TM I had not has one for 3 years and I'm
sure the only reason I thought to go now was my eyesight had gotten so bad
I could hardly see to drive. I could not see TV very well from across the
room. When I had the exam a month ago, my eyesight was 20/80. The
legal limit to drive in GA is 20/80. Boy, what a difference new glasses
has made.
I did not write this to discourage you, I
wrote it to encourage you to have your eyes checked on a regular basis.
Maybe if I had gotten mine checked sooner they would not be this
bad.
Also hello to everyone. I still don't
post alot because all of you have much more wisdom that I do about TM. But
I read the posts everyday and more important than that, my wife reads them
everyday. I think reading them has helped her to understand TM more and
therefore she understand what is happening with me when I tell her some new
symptom has popped up. Thanks to all of you.
