The time we got the message about Tom, I asked his wife then for some more information. She wrote back to me last week. This is a part of the letter with the information we were curious about.

<Hi Wim,

I am Tom's wife of just two months.... we married on Oct 24th and I lost him on December 20th. This has been hard for me as I did and didn't see it coming. I loved him and will share about him if you wish me to? How long did you know him?
If you don't mind my asking and how did you meet? I assume on line... It has
been like I got to know one man, fell in love and then he died and now I am
finding out about how much I didn't know about him... It has been a very rough road. I was married before for 26 years... I expected to live a long happy life
with Tom.

If I sound lost I am... so sorry but I sort of am a bit lost... This is just so
hard. I do want to thank you for writing me back and am looking forward to
writing more in the future.

Tom was survived by three children. A daughter in college who will graduate in
April, a 16 year old son and 11 year old daughter. They all live with their
grandparents now. He was also survived by a sister and two brothers. He was
strong in Masons and loved many people. He was a giver and did all he could for
those around him. >
