I did try Cymbalta for awhile. But didn't give it a chance. For four years I have been on Neurontin. I was having memory problems! So we tried Cymbalta. It made me nervous. A drug that was supposed to be used for depression is now supposedly having great results with pain?? Who knows. So I stopped Cymbalta and went with Lyrica. I would be very interested to hear how it works for you. I was initially paralyzed from the waist down. After four years I now use a walker to get around but a great deal of pain. Also taking Baclophen. which I never took before. My poor body doesn't know what the heck is going on.... Please let me know how the Cymbalta works out. It is very expensive. I was told in July the price was going to increase quite a bit (according to the pharmacist at CVS) Trudy in Northern Virginia....

The Effexor worked pretty good. Whe I first went on the Lyrica I was still on the Effexor for awhile. Actually it seems the combination of both of them worked best. Right now I am just on the Lyrica. In all cases I still had the nerve pain but the Lyrica and/or the Effexor seemed to do the best at reducing the pain. Better than the nuerontin, marinol, or topamax ...........Cody in Austin ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2006 6:58 PM Subject: [TMIC] I Tried Lyrica > > > ----- Forwarded by Dennis Galvin/ADMIN/UCCSN on 06/07/2006 04:10 PM ----- > > Dennis Galvin > To: > 06/07/2006 11:55 cc: > AM Subject: I Tryed Lyrica > > > > > > My Dr. gave me some samples of Lyrica.
