Ok, I apologize for not verifying
for myself the truth regarding the "Swiffer"
incident.
Apparently I was wrong in assuming that my
sister-in-law knew what she was talking about. She has since been
advised regarding the existence of Snopes and has promised to use it
regularly before passing any notice of the Swiffer
kind.
I will not apologize again, and consider this
topic over and done with. There is no use in dragging it on and on
as things of this type have been in the past.
I am guilty of not doing as I have recommended
others to do in the past. I believe that in matters such as this, it
is the intent of the email sender that matters. Is the
sender trying to stir up trouble, or is it their intent only to share
well-meaning "information" with others whom they care
for?
