What great sound advice Hildred!  It seems that those of us who just accept the status quo suffer needlessly quite often.  I hasten to add that I'm not suffering in any way apart from tm.

Please please get help

If you need help please call Adult Protective Services.   If you aren't being cared for then you are being abused.   Tell them everything and ask for help.

Good luck and please let me know what happens.

I understand exactly how you feel except I have lost the ability to walk and no one will get me out of bed except to go to the doctor or the two times I od'd on pills and had to go to the ER.  I think since I came home from the psych unit on 5/17 I have been out of my bedroom 4 times.  Physical therapy has given up on me, they don't come any more.  The social worker doesn't return my phone calls.  The psych nurse comes and tells me his problems.  I can't get my husband to do a thing.  He won't fix anything so other things can get fixed, i.e., the washing machine or the drain thing under the sink so we can't wash clothes and he hates going to the laundry mat.  Don't get me started on him.  He slept til 2 p.m. today so I didn't get to get up, didn't get any clean sheets and just had to stay in bed for yet another weekend.  My kids don't live near here.  I would love to see them.

I'm in a funk too.  Welcome to my pity party!!
