For me, I would call the tingling-vibration thing and the "electrical shock" thing different things. I used to get the horrible shock feeling in my arms, sometimes in my feet. I play the flute. I couldn't play for a while after TM, but when I started practicing again and getting my strength back up, I would get the "electrical shocks" shooting down my arms. For me it was very painful. I can't stand it. It only happens every once in a while now. As for the tingling/vibrations, I still have that constantly in my feet and hands and sometimes everywhere. It doesn't hurt, more annoying than anything else. I've learned to live with it. Now, for the pain, I wish I could learn to live with that. It's so exhausting. I take 100mg ultram twice a day, to cut the edge off. That's the only thing that works for me.

I used to tell people that it was like holding on to a low voltage electric fence. I once touched an electric fence as a kid. Although the tingling/vibrations aren't as strong, that was the only way I could think of to explain it. - Roger in Kennewick, WA
