Well, I suffer from very dry eyes as well, have been for years.  In fact, my left eye, the one wearing the contact lens, is so red all the time that some folks have asked me what was the problem.   Am trying a new solution:  Refresh Liquigel by Allergan.   They make several doses but I've gone for the strongest: Moderate to severe Dry Eye.   And it works.   Check it out.  I get mine at Costco but am sure it's available elsewhere.
