Last night was the worse of them all. I woke up choking/coughing like my
throat was on fire. It wasn't. Plus it felt like I had fire coming from every
orifice of my body except my nose, eyes, and ears. I slowly got up. ( By the way
I am affected on my right side and on my left side to my knee) Walked around,
opened the freezer, thinking this would help, but it didn't. it just took
awhile. Plus I had to take a 2 mg Xanax that my daughter had given to me to get
the fire out. My doctors at U T Houston act as if this is normal and probably
is. But could they at least suggest a medication to help with the anxiety and
the firey feeling. My TM doctor gave me Pamelor 50mg to take at bedtime. I can't
take it because it keeps me awake all night. He said it would help with the pain
in my legs (spasms) and my back. But believe me it doesn't. And take a guess
when he wants to see me next? In December, I don't think I can take many more of
these nights. I am affected on my right side from T3 down to my feet, and
on my left side from my knee down. Lately my left hand and fingers have been
going numb too. I contacted Johns Hopkins last month and they set up an
appointment, but I couldn't afford to go, so there went that. Any suggestions
from anyone before I loose my mind.
