Did anyone see the Charlie Rose program on Thursday night, 11/16? He had a man on, named Sheldon Adelson. I had never heard of him before, but apparently he is the third wealthiest man in the U.S. after Bill Gates and Warren Buffet.
More importantly, he said he is putting his billions into medical research, to help find cures for 10 major disease categories. When Charlie Rose asked him what they were, he said the first one would be Neurological diseases such as MS. He said that he suffers from a neurologic illness, a kind of inflammation that gets better, but he didnt name it. The Adelson Medical Research Foundation is based in Boston he said. Just an FYI.
