Jim, what an awesome trip! You certainly deserved it - you work so hard for
everybody, (and we thank you!) it's great that you were able to go and have
some fun!

Linda

  Subject: [TMIC] What a trip!

I just got back from the Transverse Myelitis Association Young Adult's Autumn
Retreat at Victory Junction Gang Camp. I flew from Seattle, WA to Asheboro, NC
on a Learjet provided by Jet ICU. I was picked up at my house by ambulance,
taken to the airport and transferred on to the jet. Total trip took about 5hrs
40min with a stop in Omaha, NE to refuel. Flying at 41,000 Ft at 585 mph was so
smooth. I went with my nurse, an ICU nurse and a RT.

I was at Victory Junction Gang Camp with my brother and nurse Thursday
through Sunday. VJGC is really cool and the people are some of the nicest I
have ever met. Everything thing there is fully accessible. I met others with TM
and saw some friends again. Got to watch Star Wars Episode 3 on a big
projection screen (since I missed at the theater). Made some new friends and
just had a really great time.

If anyone ever has an opportunity to go to Victory Junction Gang Camp don't
miss going. I can't even fully describe how much fun I had. Go as a volunteer
if you are a kid at heart. :)
