GeorgetteHarris @aol.com, Hi and welcome to our family. What your feeling in
your legs is normal for a tm patient. Did you ask your doctor what he would
prescribe for you. We or all different and some medicines help others and not
me.
I get the burning ,tingling and the banding at times. I noticed if i over
due it acts up.You will know how your body reacts to many things, just give it
time.
I take neurontin and it does help me. I only take 900 mgs a day , 300 8 am 2
pm and when i go to bed. A first you might feel a little drowsy but after
awhile your body adjusts to it well mine did. I tried the cymbalta with it and
i
got so sick, i had a bad reaction. Now they want to put me on lyrica. I go to
see 2 of my doctors next Thursday., Then I will see if i go on the lyrica. I
was also paralyzed from the waist down a few times in the last 14 years. Its
usually my left leg, that is my bad side.
Do you do any exercising pt or pool therapy? I think that is the best i do
it everyday and it might hurt but if it keeps my legs moving I can take some
pain. I hate being stiff around t9 t 10. I went to a pain clinic and it is
great they teach you so much and they gave me the meds i needed, if i ever get
in
severe pain i can call and go and get a mild nerve block not deep down my
spine. You might want to think about that.
                   Peace And Best Wishes
                              Pam
