Hi Deb, and those of you who responded to my plea for help, So far, we have the following states represented: Washington Louisiana Hawaii Ohio Idaho California North Carolina Pennsylvania New Jersey Maine Texas Michigan Georgia Maryland New York
But Jim is now in sixth place with only 42 donations. The first place organization has 129 donations, so he is 87 short. It just takes a $10.00 donation. If you are a married couple, two of you could each make a $10.00 donation, and that would mean two donations. It does not all have to be made by just one person. My husband made one donation and I made one. It is not the dollar amount - it is the number of people who donate, that determines the winner at the end of December. Please, let's all do this for Jim. He has done so much for us over the many years. He has links to free medication for those who can not afford meds. He has links to the best way to apply for SSI and disability. He has links to where you can get any type of adaptive equipment or clothing that you need. Whatever you need, Jim has the link to get you there. Let's do this for Jim. Here's the link again. You can click on it to see where he is in the top ten, and then you can click on "donate" to make your donation: http://promotions.yahoo.com/giving/topten.php Thank you, Debbie ----- Original Message ----- From: Deb Casey To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, December 23, 2006 8:59 AM Subject: [TMIC] #2 from Michigan! Hi Deborah Thanks for the reminder. It's one of those things that i meant to look into, but of course, forgot. This is a challenge to others on the list. We tell Jim all the tim how much his time and effort mean to us, let's put some money behind our woords. After all, the cause is TM. Isn't that why we're on this website. How about a donation or two from every state ad country? Is anyone else up tp the challenge? It was easy, I just went through the site listed in Deborah's memo. Michigan just donated
