Hi Rick, When you say you are looking for something to sit in so you can get out of your chair for comfort, are you referring to a recliner type chair? My mother passed away about a year and a half ago, and had a Lazy Boy Lift chair with the heat and massage and I was the recipient of it. Well, I am not sure that it is really the best chair - other than the fact that it will make it easy to get to a standing position when I cannot make it on my own. The chair is extremely firm, actually can hurt your bum if you are achy that day. And makes my back hurt if I sit in or recline in it for any length of time. The heat and massage are nice though. But, I think approx $1200 - 1500, depending on fabric. I actually think that my brothers like the chair more than I do, but they felt that I could use it more since I have TM. For the reason that I find it uncomfortable most of the time, I don't sit in it often. Mostly, when I want to feel a warm fuzzy of my mom near me, I will sit in it, recline, and cover up with an afghan that my mom made for me. Hugs, Barbara A
