Anyone every tried Casamet? I imagine Dr. Frank will know about it. I'm trying it but in very minute dose right now. I tried a 0.5 mg capsule and the side effects of sleep and intoxication were too mcuh. So now I'm on a 2 ml. dose (100 ml of Tang mixed with a 1 mg content of the capsule) mixed per instructions of neuro. I am taking 2 ml. dose at night for one week then adding another 2 ml. dose in a.m. after the first week. See if this helps.
With the awful side effects - (felt like I had a terrible hangover (without the fun) and slept till almost 5 pm the next day) - did realize that the pins and needles in my legs were gone. I currently take 2400 mg of gabapentin and 10 mg of Baclofen every day. So I am trying this in addition to I know that Casamet is a 'cannabis' based type of medication. That is what makes me nervous too. Never ever had anything to do with that type of thing. Heather in Calgary
