Just wanted to give out the information so that everyone knows how the disability income works. Many do not know, so I like to give this information out once in a while, especially for the newbies. I knew that I would have to repay my disability carrier - so I was prepared to do so once I got the money from SSDI. My problem was that it hit me in December, and it was for 18 months, so it spanned 2 calendar years. It was taxed in one calendar year and it added all of the payment into that year as income, which really sucked. Please pardon the expression. I really had to scramble that year for deductions to use on our taxes that year. Big hugs to all, Barbara A
