Hi Barb,

Seroquel comes in 50's, 100's, 300's , 25's, and I'm not sure what else.
I'm wrangling with the insurance company because they consider the amount
of pills to be excessive---the way they have my dosage figured out I have to
have 10 pills per day. I take 75mgs---3-25mg pills 3 times a day and then
100 mgs at night. It's a small daily dose (My daughter was prescribed 600
mgs a day and did fine.) but the way they have the script written it calls
for 300 pills a month. I sure hope the doc can figure out a way that I can
split pills or something---but how can I split a 100 mg into a 75mg? At any
rate he told me not to panic as for the time being I can uses samples.

 Hello,

I also take different dosages at different times of the day, but it's the
Neurontin. In order to satisfy the insurance company and to make it only
one prescription for me, I have to take more pills, but it''s worth it. You
just have to be creative as to how to figure out what will work.

She wrote the prescription for a smaller dosage pills, like, instead of
800 mgs, it was 600 mgs, but I got a ton of pills. Then I'd just split one
each day in order to get to the proper dosage. That's not too tough -
saves the cost of 2 co-pays. This only works if the pills you are taking
comes in the right dosages to work.
