I believe you have to have a prescription from your doctor to get help from

Patti is correct as far as the State of Michigan goes, although when I have
been real sick, there are personal care providers who will set those things
up sor you at no cost.

I don't know about other States or companies, but Blue Care Network, has
helped me in many instances where it just blew me away b/c it was so
unexpected.
For one thing, finding out about the Personal Care Providership has helped
me immensely.

Cheryl, my assigned Nurse, Social Worker, Insurance Provider has been a
God-send. When I was real sick, she called me every day, she set me up with
home
health care nurses and physicians, she recently has arranged for nurses to
come out once a week to check on my pressure sores. She helped me get my new
wheelchair, my Hoyer Lift, and other Durable Health Equipment...what ever I
need, she has seen that I have gotten it in a timely manner. I don't know
what I would do without her. She has also set up referrals and things like
that...just about everything...she is there for me. Check with your company,
maybe there is a program like that set up for you.

If I can be of any more help regarding this information, let me know...maybe
I can give you a few more ideas.

Peace and Prayers,
Jude
