Candy, would it work to call your provider's nurse so she can help you with this? In our clinic where I worked, we would sometimes get calls from patients with issues like this and we would make a few phone calls and straighten the situation out much faster than the patient could themselves. I don't know about other places but we would go to bat for our patients. Also, is your med one that your clinic would carry samples where they could give them to you until you could get your prescription filled? Just a couple thoughts..
Give your insurance company heck! Don't let up on them until they help you with this! You're the one paying the horrendous insurance cost! So meanwhile, I sit in pain, which is probably made even worse because I'm so upset! I keep trying to tell myself to calm down and relax because I know being upset just makes everything worse - the pain and my walking and general functioning!
