Hi All ~
I was taking a look at Dr. Leonard's website for the shoes and the gel
cushion and noticed the Wristech Blood Pressure Monitors.....it's the one that
fits on your wrist.....
I purchased four of them....one for myself and three as gifts and decided to
try them all out......they are not accurate....! Every one of those
monitors gives a different reading and it's on the low end which can be
dangerous
for someone with high BP. I tested them against the upper arm cuff BP monitor
that I have at home which I know to be accurate.
I packed them up and sent them back to the company with a letter
explaining the problem and the possible dangers to a patient and the fact that
the
company could be looking at lawsuits up the road...and suggested they take
them
off the market.
Got no response....got my money back....haven't heard any more about
them...but I see they're still on the market. Guess I need to write more
letters...!
Love to all,
~ Lynn
