This is appalling. I told you guys last month that you have to contact the
ombudsman of the place where she is, they all have them. I know that one
person called, but you need to call again. You need to call everyday! The
ombudsman's job is make sure that things like this don't happen to patients,
but you have to keep him informed! He probably talked to the staff once after
you called before, and then he forgot about Jude. Call everyday!! This is
criminal, and someone should take photos and keep records, because there could
be a malpractice suit here. Jude cannot get this help for herself, you guys
who are close to her have to take charge and DEMAND that she get better care,
or they will just put her into a corner to die. It may already be too late to
save her, (Don't forget, Christopher Reeve died ultimately of a bedsore, and he
had the best care that money could buy), but at least we can help make Jude
comfortable now. There is NO EXCUSE for what is happening to her!!! Whoever
called the ombudsman before, could you please post the phone number & name to
this list so we can all call on Jude's behalf? We don't know where she is or
how to call the administration.

WELL ITS NOT THE NEWS WE WANT TO HEAR.THE STAPH AND MSRA HAS WENT TO HER
BLOODSTREAM.THIS HAPPENED A FEW DAYS AGO.
THEY TOLD HER THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT ANTIBIOTIC TO USE. SHE TOLD THEM SHE DID
NOT WANT TO DIE IN THE HOME. SHE WOULD GO HOME WITH HOSPICE.
I COULD BARELY TALK FROM FEAR OF CRYING. SHE TOLD ME DO NOT CRY.SHE WANTED TO
WAIT BEFORE SHE TOLD ME TO TELL THE LIST.
THEN LATER THAT DAY THEY TOLD HER SHE WOULD LIVE. THEY ARE TRYING DIFFERENT
ANTIBIOTICS, SHE IS WEAK AND IN SO MUCH PAIN.
I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH HER. SHE HAD DIAHREA ALL NIGHT. THEY LET HER
LAY IN IT FOR ALONG TIME.SHE TOLD THEM SHE NEEDED TO BE CLEANED AND PUT A NEW
DRESSING ON HER OPEN SORE.
WELL THE AIDE DID NOT TELL THE RN THAT THE SORE WAS NOT COVERED AT ALL. JUDE
LAYED LIKE THAT WITH THE OPEN SORE.
THIS IS MALPRACTICE TO ME, NO WONDER THE STAPH AND MSRA WENT TO HER
BLOODSREAM.
I CANNOT BELIEVE THE NIGHT RN DID NOT GO AND CHECK JUDE,THIS IS APPALLING TO
ME.
THIS NURSING HOME AND THE HOSPITAL SHE IS IN IS HORRIBLE.
I HOPE DAVE SAYS SOMETHING TO THEM. I TRIED TO REACH HIM BUT GOT NO ANSWER.IT
SEEMS TO ME THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DUE EXCEPT IGNORE JUDE, FIRST THE HOME
NOW THE HOSPITAL .I DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH MORE SHE CAN TAKE.
MAYBE ITS TIME FOR SOMEONE TO CALL THE HOSPITAL AND MAKE A BIG STINK. I WANT
TO BUT I AM WAITING TO HERE FROM DAVE.
JUDE TOLD ME SHE DOES NOT THINK SHE IS GOING TO MAKE IT. I AM TRYING MY BEST
TO WRITE THIS. MY HEART IS BREAKING.

IT COULD OF BEEN PREVENTED.
ALL WE CAN DO IS PRAY FOR OUR JUDE. I AM AS I DO EVERYDAY. I SEND CARDS
FLOWERS GIFTS LIKE SO MANY OF YOU DO.WE HAVE TO KEEP THE FAITH BUT JUDE IS
SPIRITUALLY READY TO GO TO HEAVEN.
I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT DAVE LETS ME DO IF I CATCH HIM BEFORE HE GOES TO
WORK. MONDAY IS HIS LAST DAY OF WORK HE RETIRES .THIS IS NOT HOW IT WAS
SUPPOSED TO BE.
I AM LOST FOR WORDS WHICH NEVER HAPPENS TO ME. I NFEEL LIKE BREAKING
