Let us know right before you take them, okay??? The good thing is that you
can know right away (here in Washington, anyway) if you passed where when I
took them, I had to wait which seemed like forever!

We'll be sending lots of prayers out for you!!

Jeanne

Congratulations, Marieke!!!! I am so proud of you! Being an RN is
something to be very proud of because only YOU can get you there with a
whole lot of prayer, work, and by-guess and by-golly!!!!

I switched to Lyrica as Neurontin just wasn't working well enough for me
anymore. I was on 3600mg of Neurontin and now take 300-450mg Lyrica a day
with NO side effects, whereas the Neurontin was affecting my concentration.
I was also on Baclofen and Zanaflex, for spasms/spasticity, Florinef and
Amatine, for my LOW blood pressure Nortryptaline, for pain at night, Senokot
and Colace, Bisacodyl suppository for bowel, oxybutynin for bladder. As well
Naproxyn or Relpax for migraines. I now no longer take the Zanaflex as
unfortunatly it was causing my upper body to weaken (good arm was turning to
uselessness).

Marieke TM @T1, March 18 2004. Walk with a cane and a long leg brace for
left leg.
RN ! (graduated 2008)

thanks to everyone who replied. let me clarify some of the meds i take. 3600
milligrams of nuerotonin/day, baclofen, zanaflex, fioricet, i also take
coumadin, so asperin is out of question. i also take about 9-10 other drugs
for various things. do you think a switch to lyrica would be worth my time?
b/c it will take awhile to get weened off the nuerotonin.

Have yiou tried gabapentin; Why are you taking 8 10 other meds. I am not an
md but you should certainly check with your md. re side effects. Why do you
want to try lyrica? gabapentin workes the same way as lyrica with no side
effects. to me and this is my personal opinion the less drugs you take the
better it is.>From: robert hennessy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>>To:

Good answer, Gerry. As an RN, I have seen way too much of this and always
feel it's poor MD control, not the fault of the patient.
