I cannot have toe surgery because the surgeon was concerned about the vasculitis. Don't we all TMers have vasculitis with all that numbness going on in our legs and feet?
My rhumatologist and neuro nixed foot surgery. I find it very difficult and painful to walk with these crooked things and hammetoes going on down there. Perhaps the infection you're experiencing has to do with poor circulation in your feet. But you were able to travel to Europe. That's a good sign. Take care and let us know how you recover. R
